I’ve been sculpting horses with Goksin and the rest of the team for about a year now I love this group for it’s camaraderie, enthusiasm and support-the secret sauce essential to my creative endeavors during a tough pandemic year. Goksin’s sharp eye, gentle wit and positive energy has been a driving force to improving-and completing-my sculptures.

If you are interested in learning how to sculpt horses, Goksin Carey is an excellent instructor!  She is incredibly passionate about what she does and invested in each and every one of her students.  With many years of experience sculpting her own works as well as numerous commission pieces, she has developed a system in which anyone who takes her class can be successful.  She will teach you everything you need to know including the anatomy of the horse and how to sculpt the correct proportions.  In addition to traditional studio classes, Carey also offers online sessions via Zoom.  She is very savvy with technology and provides excellent feedback virtually.  You will not be disappointed!
